Tawker is an encrypted messaging app for the next-gen. In version 1, basic messaging and voice communication features were added as per the client’s requirement.
We designed the app using Firebase SDK (Database, Auth, Storage, Analytics) and incorporated some fantastic features. Users can place voice and video calls, join groups via the link and chat, reply to messages, use emojis, make and receive group calls, and tap and hold to record messages.
Along with that, the app provides a one-stop solution to Send/Receive/Read indicators and recording indicators with Real-Time updates.
Users can easily copy/forward/share/delete messages, last seen and online status updates, and delete Messages remotely. The best part is that the app works offline and can search for a particular message or user, as well as location sharing, mute or block a user, ensuring the utmost safety and privacy.
To sum up, the app is developed in a way that incorporates tons of fun features for the targeted audience.
For Version 2, the application’s functionality was enhanced by adding features such as; Message Scheduling (Currently in Beta), Text with Stories, and Stickers/Filters for Status.
To summarize, if I could give them 10 stars, I would. They were that good. Once they started working on the app, I immediately knew that I had made the right choice, and they continuously proved their dedication.
